"ask me how I'm changing the environment!"

I received this flyer from the Conservative Gov't in the mail a few days ago. It tells me, on bleached white, non-recycled paper, that the Conservatives are "taking action."

Is sending bleached white, non-recycled paper flyers to everyone in Canada the Conservative idea of "taking action"?

Do I need to explain why sending bleached white, non-recycled paper flyers to everyone in Canada to promote an environmental policy falls somewhat short of "taking (an) action" that would be considered environmentally responsible?

Or even cost effective?

Also interesting is how the Conservatives call themselves "Canada's New Government". I remember listening to an interview on CBC's As It Happens with a ministerial geologist who had refused to use the phrase. He was fired. (After some publicity, he was later reinstated.) There is something truly eerie and evil lurking behind the propaganda machine of the Conservatives.

Does the "investment of 2 billion" cover the cost of these flyers?
Of course we don't know what the Conservatives are investing 2 billion in...
Perhaps the legal fees to extricate themselves from Kyoto?
