Case-in-point: this is an example not of a subculture, nor a post-subculture [which will be all the rage once Muggleton and Weinzierl's reader hits the shelves later this Fall], but of a micro.culture. "Youth (post)subculture" has been escalated--suer, there are still generational gaps & localised convergences of global patterns & rebellious lifestyle identities, but what has shifted is the network of patternings that patterns its own networks. Literally.
